The Royal Wedding

The much anticipated Royal Wedding is a day away!

I plan on getting up early to watch and make scones and tea to celebrate!
I remember getting up in the wee hours when Lady Di married Prince Charles. My husband thinks I am crazy but he yet he gets up early to watch the Tour De France!

What are you planning, will you be watching it live?

Here is a little Royal Wedding decor inspiration to get you in the spirit.

  3. I will definitely be watching! :) Thankfully for us the ceremony starts at 6am... so not too unrealistic for getting up and wedding watching! I hope to be able to take the day off work to lounge around / complete some stuff around the house as well!

    Enjoy! :)

  4. What a lovely surprise! My little union jack dresser in your Royal Wedding post! :) I'm completely flattered :) :)

I would love to get up to watch it, but I am so chronically sleep-deprived (my kiddos are bad sleepers in general), that I just don't want to risk putting myself over the edge! :( I'll be tuning in at 6 as soon as I get up, tho!! I love how you're making scones! I had planned to stay at my sister's house tonight, but she's now jetted of to London!! Lucky bum ;)

  5. I tend towards your husband's opinion. I think you are all crazy but I anticipate looking like a superstar tomorrow while the rest of the country is highly sleep deprived. I'll hear all about it via blogs tomorrow:)

  6. My neighbor is making tea and scones, so I will be keeping her company. Hopefully, I won't fall asleep on the couch.

  7. Anyone heard of PVR? Now you can sleep like a baby and not miss a thing! I've been invited to a Royal Wedding party tomorrow - The lady hosting the party is from England and has all kinds of British treats planned. We were all told to come in our proper attire! I be showing up in a dorky pink floral dress, pink satin pumps, a lovely cream cardigan, cream gloves, and of course I have pulled out the pearls for the occasion. Still looking for a hat though!
Truth be told I am actually far more into the Canucks right now! Go Vancouver Go!
