The much anticipated Royal Wedding is a day away!
I plan on getting up early to watch and make scones and tea to celebrate!
I remember getting up in the wee hours when Lady Di married Prince Charles. My husband thinks I am crazy but he yet he gets up early to watch the Tour De France!
What are you planning, will you be watching it live?
Here is a little Royal Wedding decor inspiration to get you in the spirit.
I will be watching too....I just want to see the dress!!
ReplyDeleteI am getting up to watch...at 3 am! I watched Di and Charles get married, Fergie and Andrew, and I can't miss this one :)
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be watching! :) Thankfully for us the ceremony starts at 6am... so not too unrealistic for getting up and wedding watching! I hope to be able to take the day off work to lounge around / complete some stuff around the house as well!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy! :)
What a lovely surprise! My little union jack dresser in your Royal Wedding post! :) I'm completely flattered :) :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to get up to watch it, but I am so chronically sleep-deprived (my kiddos are bad sleepers in general), that I just don't want to risk putting myself over the edge! :( I'll be tuning in at 6 as soon as I get up, tho!! I love how you're making scones! I had planned to stay at my sister's house tonight, but she's now jetted of to London!! Lucky bum ;)
I tend towards your husband's opinion. I think you are all crazy but I anticipate looking like a superstar tomorrow while the rest of the country is highly sleep deprived. I'll hear all about it via blogs tomorrow:)
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor is making tea and scones, so I will be keeping her company. Hopefully, I won't fall asleep on the couch.
ReplyDeleteAnyone heard of PVR? Now you can sleep like a baby and not miss a thing! I've been invited to a Royal Wedding party tomorrow - The lady hosting the party is from England and has all kinds of British treats planned. We were all told to come in our proper attire! I be showing up in a dorky pink floral dress, pink satin pumps, a lovely cream cardigan, cream gloves, and of course I have pulled out the pearls for the occasion. Still looking for a hat though!
ReplyDeleteTruth be told I am actually far more into the Canucks right now! Go Vancouver Go!
i'm absolutely getting up to watch it.. setting my alarm for 5 (i'm on eastern time). i want to see it live when kate takes the world's breath away! :)
ReplyDeletesetting my alarm, having my English Breakfast tea and no scones but I do have shortbread! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that chest from My House of Giggles! Such a fantastic makeover!! I will be PVRing but hopeful up early enough to catch up with the rest of the world :)
ReplyDeleteNancy xo
Great finds! I'm watching the pre show right now!
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun to wake up early and watch it live! Did you enjoy it, Barbara?
ReplyDeleteI had stayed up until 5:00 when I couldn't stay up any longer so slept until 7 and of course missed it live but watched it later! Loved it!
