New Shop in Town: Spruce Collective

Last weekend, Tracey Ayton and I made a trip out to the newest store in town, Spruce Collective.

Spruce Collective is an example that several heads are better than one! A bricks and mortar collaboration from Elisa of Home Sweet Nest, Jessica of Trove Vintage Rentals & Handmade AffairsKevi of Twig Home, Monica of Red Wicker and Lily of Birch + Birdlocal bloggers and vendors from the Fraser Valley area.

Chock full of vintage and new, this shop was a pleasure to browse through. Every nook and cranny beautifully styled. And if you are bored, you can always sign up to participate in one of their many workshops put on by local artisans.

They are the supplier of Ce Ce Caldwell Chalk Paints too!

A fabulous DIY idea, frame a silhouette of your child and a autobiographical piece they have written. What an amazing keepsake!

I stumbled across small pexi-glass vintage letters for a fun upcoming project!

 All photos courtesy of Tracey Ayton Photography, who takes great photos even with an iPhone.

Of course I did not come away empty handed. My small treasure trove was a delight!

{The milk glass piece I bought at a local thrift store}

If you are in the Abbotsford area, make sure you stop by. And next door is an delightful cafe, Traceycakes, that serves delicious lunches and the most divine cupcakes!

  8. Wow I visited Spruce 3 weeks ago and bought some wonderful rustic hardware for my burled walnut armoire (handles were broken)! On that day I celebrated my girlfriends 65th birthday with a visit to Traceycakes. It was a lovely day in Downtown Abbotsford! So much to see!

  10. Looks like a really cool store - love the owl dish :-) I have a similar idea as the framed silhouette to create keepsakes for each of our foster dogs :-)
