A Little Jonathan Adler In the Loo....

The kind folks at Cottonelle asked me if I would like to try out the latest bathroom decor designed by Jonathan himself.

Who can resist a bit of Jonathan Adler in your home?

Here is what they have to say about their latest venture into bathroom decor:

The new collection features three exclusive designs sketched by Jonathan Adler, and are packed with a variety of vibrant colours and bold patterns that will make a statement in any bathroom. While the roll covers are designed to add style and flair to any bathroom, they do more than just look pretty. When it comes to good design, functionality is key. The Jonathan Adler-designed roll covers are a great solution for keeping that extra roll of Cottonelle Clean Care readily available.

Adler has long been known for putting a fresh, modern spin on everyday objects. Adler designed three fashion-forward Cottonelle brand toilet paper roll covers that give people a stylish, new way to store extra rolls of toilet paper. The new roll covers encourage consumers to pay attention to an often-overlooked opportunity to enhance the look and feel of their bathrooms—and giving them a new way to respect the roll.

My kids were all excited when they saw them, but I was surprised how they ended up being used!

As  fabulous as these toilet holders are, they don't really fit into my design scheme AND it would require a lot of "training" in my home to get everyone to even use them. I can see how they would come in handy in a small space, where a roll of toilet paper just doesn't cut it as a design accessory.

But they can also be put to great use as funky storage! As my daughter has done in her very well used desk area. She grabbed two of the holders immediately and took them into her room. They really fit well into her  design scheme - the holders have a youthful and colourful vibe.

And for your entertainment a truly hilarious commercial from Cottonelle. I can imagine this scene in my home as well!

  10. LOL! We received one of these in our swag bag at the Design Bloggers Meet up in Toronto during IDS12. I gave it to my daughter for her room as I got the pink and orange one and that is the colours in her room. I also felt it was better used as a cute storage container than a toilet paper holder.
