One Room Challenge: Sewing Studio on a Budget | Week 5

Well, here we are, week 5! Slowly getting this room put together. If you are stopping by for the first time, I am creating a sewing studio on a tight budget as a guest participant for the One Room Challenge. Since we are renting there is no renovation happening but will use paint, fabric and accessories to transform the space! The One Room Challenge is created by Linda from Calling it Home blog where 20 featured designers are challenged to make over a space in 6 weeks.

I am making over my son's old room into a sewing studio where I can have a space dedicated for sewing for my Etsy shop opening soon! The room is almost done. All that needs to be done is to sew the pillows for the day bed and a Roman shade! I hung up decals from Urbanwalls who are sponsoring this project.. Here is a peek:

Artwork got printed and framed and here is a peek at a pillow I whipped up!

After I am done sewing, I need to put the room together and style it up! I'll be photographing it by my lonesome. Eep. Come back next week for the reveal!!!!

Be sure to head over to the One Room Challenge website to see what everyone else is up to!
